Beyond The Checklist Membership

Darla has a unique connection to heaven. Her ability to use her faith to take steps into the darkness over and over is both humbling and exhilarating. She isn't exaggerating when she says that she has a deeply personal relationship with her Heavenly Parents. Every time I listen to her or interact with her I leave feeling empowered, motivated and excited to improve my relationship with my Heavenly Parents and leave the checklist behind.

This is the podcast I go to when I need a spiritual or emotional lift! Darla always seems to post what I need at just the right time! Some episodes are what I consider tools in my emotional and spiritual toolbox, and I listen to them over and over! I can't wait for the new season of episodes!

I used to fit the “mormon mom” mold church, FHE, scripture study, service projects, temple trips - we joyfully did ALL THE THINGS. But as our kids became teenagers and then young adults, things changed big time. Testimonies have faltered, new paths are being forged and suddenly I felt like I didn’t belong in this community anymore. Darla showed me otherwise. She listened, she made space and is working to support ALL of us as we do the greatest work of loving our children in THEIR journey’s the way our Heavenly Parents and our Savior love us.
